Colours, textures and the light of landscape breathe their way into my work as I coax each piece into a state of balance. I am working with the elements from my internal and external experience and playfully experimenting with a number of techniques. Sometimes, a piece just rushes together: sometimes the journey I take has many phases. There is a moment which arises, when I see the balance in the work has moved from silence into expression.
