peter hallam Peter Hallam is a self taught artist with a natural gift for drawing and painting. He has a passion for colour and design and his one desire in life is to paint. Recently Peter’s natural gift was highly commended when he was awarded the Cravens Art Prize when he exhibited at The Human Zoo. His work has been in numerous exhibitions. In 2005 Peter was invited to exhibit by the Royal Scottish Academy reflects how seriously his work as an artist is considered. Peter’s influences can be found in the works of Francis Bacon in particular. Peter’s fascination with space and how the relationships created by it through colour and form are also a constant theme throughout Peter’s work. Peter also draws his ideas for his dreams to create calm atmospheric pieces alongside more dynamic and unique work.
