| simone lyon Simone lives and works at Macbiehill in West Linton. She attended Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts in London and holds a first Class B.A in Design, specialising in Ceramics, Silversmithing and History of Art. She has held many teaching positions throughout the country and is involved in various Community Projects in this area. Pieces of her work have been exhibited in galleries throughout the world and she holds significant commissins in Crown Estates and Universities in Edinburgh and the Natural History Museum in London. The inspiration for the work comes from the natural world including fossils, birds, animals and the human figure. The muted earthy colours allow the pieces to fit comfortably either in the home or in the garden. |
