lesley mcLaren Lesley was born in Glasgow in 1959 and holds a degree in Painting from Exeter college of Art. She works with Oils which she finds contribute perfectly in recreating the texture, form and light captured in her stunning finished work. Often she ditches her brushes and uses her fingers to almost sculpt or mould the paint into the desired form. Lesley exhibits mostly in Edinburgh and the Borders, where she lives and works and as can be seen from her work, you can clearly see the love she feels for the beautiful part of the world she lives in.
