David trained in the engineering world making aircraft, tank and sport car engine components to the highest imaginable standards. The past seven years has been spent putting these skills gained in metalwork into the irresistible and always unique beauty of wood.

All the wood is sourced locally by David himself (mostly from New Lanark by arrangement with the New Lanark Conservation Trust) ensuring a supply of often rare spalted Beech and Oak.
